A beginner friendly exploration into the world of natural dyes- we'll teach you our signature technique: Eco-Printing (direct printing onto fabric with flowers, plants and other natural materials) also known as Bundle Dyeing.
You'll leave with a one of a kind and beautiful art piece-a 16x16” silk scarf
This mini version workshop includes 30 minutes of instruction and dye time, then you will return 30 minutes later to pick up your finished piece.
Very limited seats- There will be potential for walk-in's but they are not guaranteed if the class is full-which is why we recommend booking your spot ahead of time. Please arrive 5 min early if possible. Allow extra time for parking in the neighborhood
We also recommend dressing in something you wouldn't mind *possibly* staining or an apron.
About the Host:Carol is the co-owner and lead dye artist of Soul Studio. She has 30 years of experience working with textiles and a lifelong love of the natural world. Natural dyeing has become a livelihood for her, as she's explored and shared the amazing world of natural dyes since 2016.

The Commune (101 E North Loop Austin, Tx 78751) is a multi-functional community space for creatives located in the historic North Loop shopping district among many other beloved local shops. Stop by during their Valentines Event (Galentines Event) to shop an array of local brands and pop up for our fun flower filled workshop.
